Traffic is being diverted following a serious crash on Rosebank Road in Avondale, Auckland.
The serious crash involved a car and cyclist.
Police were first alerted to the incident at approximately 3.50pm.
Serious injuries are being reported and the Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
Eastbound traffic along Rosebank Road is blocked and diversions are in place along Mead Street.
Police advise motorists to expect delays and to take alternative routes where possible.
