With schools back for the year all our School Community Officers, like Gisborne’s Senior Constable Sam, have been busy ensuring tamariki are aware of keeping themselves and their school mates safe on the roads.
This chapter outlines the judicial and constabulary powers, and criminal offences that can be committed under the Gangs Act 2024 (the Act). Some parts of this chapter have been considered not appropriate for release and, if requested, would be withheld under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). The relevant sections of the Act that would apply have been identified.
