When police were alerted to a couple of ponies who’d made a break from their country paddock for the big city lights of North Dunedin recently, Constable Marliese was on hand to help. The mini adventurers were “detained” in a nearby farmer’s secure paddock overnight while their owner was located for a happy reunion.
