This chapter has been developed to protect the wellbeing of all Police employees, as well as the integrity, reputation and effectiveness of Police. It seeks to facilitate the health, safety and wellness of all Police employees in relation to drug and alcohol use by focusing on rehabilitation. 

This chapter details sexual and related offences and describes the application of New Zealand Police policies and procedures for dealing with complaints of a sexual nature by children and adults and other sexual offending (e.g., when a victim may not be involved).
