When Police in Pukekohe received reports of a mother duck in distress because its ducklings had fallen through a storm water grate, Constables Scott and Ash were on hand to save the day. Between them, they rescued and reunited all five ducklings with their mum. The only casualty was Scott’s notebook, which fell into the water.
