Police proactively publishes responses to a selected number of the many thousands of Official Information Act requests it receives each year. This proactive publication occurs after requesters have received their response, and with the requesters’ identifying details (such as names and addresses) removed before publication. The Official Information Act responses which are proactively published in this way will typically involve matters of public interest.
