Hate-motivated crimes - Police Manual chapter

This chapter provides guidelines for all Police to recognise, record, respond to and resolve reports of hate-motivated crime, non-criminal hate-motivated incidents and hate speech. For hate-motivated crime, this guidance should be applied within the context of investigations, applying proportionality and using discretion.
