  • a range of personal skills to prevent bullying
  • what they can do if they have been or are being affected by bullying behaviour
  • actions they can take to prevent bullying in the community.

The Tag Free programme provides learning activities to reduce graffiti vandalism by encouraging young people to develop pride and respect in themselves and their community.

In this year 9–10 programme students will learn:

  • about the history of personal expression
  • about the impact and consequences of graffiti vandalism
  • recognise positive peer pressure to have pride in one’s community
  • to take action to improve their community and show pride in their achievements.

The Tag Free programme provides learning activities to reduce graffiti vandalism by encouraging young people to develop pride and respect in themselves and their community.

In this year 7–8 programme students will learn about:

  • the difference between graffiti vandalism and urban art
  • consequences of graffiti vandalism
  • strategies for dealing with graffiti vandalism
  • positive peer pressure to have pride in one's community.

The Doing the Right Thing programme aims to promote values that will assist students to become responsible New Zealanders who respect others and the law.

In this year 7–8 programme students will learn:

  • about leadership and how to handle difficult situations
  • how to make good decision
  • about the consequences for victims when offenders break laws
  • to distinguish the difference between lies and the truth and how to handle temptations to lie
  • to take action to be a role model for others.
