Case 2: Feature Case - Operation Geese: Glen Innes Shooting, Auckland

At 2.51am on 24 March 2022, six people were inside a garage on Heatherbank Street, Glen Innes, Auckland. The lights were on and the group were having a casual get together with music playing.

An unidentified person/s has walked up the driveway between the house and several parked cars. This person has fired into the garage striking all six occupants. The occupants sustained serious injuries.

Vehicle described as:

• White 3 Series BMW
• 2005-2010 model
• Sedan
• Silver mags with 5 spokes
• Could be somewhat lowered

Police would like to hear from anyone who recognises the white 3 Series BMW 2005-2010 sedan that was seen on CCTV footage in the Panmure area at approximately 2:35 AM, 15 minutes before the shooting. Police are not saying the occupants were involved in the shooting but they may have valuable information.
