Police service update

At 11.59pm on Wednesday 25 March 2020, New Zealand moved to COVID-19 Alert Level 4.

This means New Zealanders not working in essential services must stay at home and stop all interactions with others outside of their household.

During this time Police will continue to provide essential policing services.

General admission is free. Tours and educational programmes:

  • adults $5
  • school holiday programmes $5
  • senior citizens $3
  • students $3

Amenities

Wheelchair access, free parking, rest-room, a coffee shop nearby, course and conference facilities.

The Museum also has a small onsite gift shop. You can purchase police souvenirs, children’s toys and police history books. We stock the popular police dog soft toy puppy in either the mako vest or dress uniform.

All shop product is supplied by The Cop Shop (Munro Canteen Inc).
