Emergency services are at the scene of a serious two-vehicle crash on SH1, Hunterville, near the intersection with Vinegar Hill Road.

Police were called about 1.10pm. 

Pioneer Highway is currently closed at the intersection with Amberley Ave in Highbury following a crash.

Wharekopae Road, Patutahi is currently closed following a crash.

The single vehicle crash was reported just before 5:20pm.

Initial indications are that there are serious injuries.
