Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on State Highway 1, north of Wellington.

State Highway 2, Central Hawke’s Bay is closed following a crash.

The two-vehicle crash between Otane and Pukehou was reported at around 2:45pm.

Police are advising motorists to exercise caution in the Takapuna area after reports diesel has been spilt on the road.
