Missing couple located

Police have located Tracey ROSS and her ex-husband Craig ROSS.
The pair were located at approximately 9am today in the missing vehicle (Mitsubishi utility LAKEO ) in the Kaikohe area.

Tracey ROSS has confirmed to police that she was abducted and the police team are now in the process of investigating the complaint.

Tracey is understandably traumatised from the incident and is currently with her parents.

This morning a team of police is examining the scene of the abduction and the vehicle, which was located in a quarry in the Taheke area.

The investigation into the murder of the male found at a Te Pua Road address is also continuing today. A team of police and forensic specialists have commenced a scene examination. Initial findings indicate that this man has been the subject of massive head injuries.
The cause of death will not be known until a post-mortem has taken place in the following days.

The police believe that the male lived at the address where he died, but cannot confirm an identity until further enquiries are made.

Police will be holding a media conference at 1200hrs today at the Kaikohe Police station.
