The second body of a woman discovered under a house in Wainoni could be removed late today says Christchurch Police. However the scene examination of the house and property will continue until at least the end of the week.

Part of the house has had to be demolished to reach both bodies for investigation and removal.

The post mortem of the first body has been completed but formal identification is not expected to be completed for a few days. Details of the post mortem will not be released.

DI Tom Fitzgerald says that when the investigation is complete, further charges will be considered.
