Henderson Police are appealing for information about Jun Nan Tang, also known as Lucy Tang, who has been missing from her home since 9 January.

Constable Robert Campbell, Henderson Police, said the 33-year-old Chinese woman had intended travelling to the Hamilton area to look for work, possibly in a child care position and return home regularly to Auckland.

Constable Campbell, said Mrs Tang, whose work permit expired on 27 March 2007, was reported missing by her husband on 1 March. It's also understood her passport was due to expire.

"There's nothing to suggest she has come to any harm but we are concerned about her," Constable Campbell said. "If anyone knows where Lucy Tang is we'd encourage them to contact us at Henderson Police on 09 839 0735."
