1 min read

Wellington Police say the post mortem examination into the newborn baby which was exhumed from a Hawtrey Terrace address in Churton Park on Wednesday has now been completed.

Police will not be releasing any further details from the post-mortem.

Detective Senior Sergeant Donna Howard of the Wellington CIB says Police are still conducting a scene examination and speaking with a number of witnesses who have been in contact with the occupants of the address.

"It is anticipated that these enquiries will continue for some time," she says.

A 21 year old female has been remanded in custody and will be appearing in Wellington District Court on 20 October 2010.
