1 min read

A man will appear in court tomorrow (Thursday, 27 January) accused of robbing a bank in Feilding.

The BNZ bank at the corner of Fergusson Street and Manchester Street was robbed yesterday around 12.45pm by an offender wearing a full faced motorbike helmet and carrying a handgun.

Police this afternoon executed a warrant on a house in Feilding with the assistance of the Armed Offenders Squad and arrested a 26-year-old man without incident.

A gun and cash, believed to be a large portion of the stolen bank money, was recovered.

The Feilding man has been charged with aggravated robbery and possession of cannabis and will appear at Palmerston North District Court tomorrow morning.
