The 27 year-old man involved in the hostage/pursuit incident overnight has now been charged.
He will remain in Police custody overnight and will appear in the North Shore District Court tomorrow morning, any time after 9am.
He has been charged with the following offences;
- Aggravated burglary x 2
- Failing to stop x 2
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Threatening to kill or do grievous bodily harm x 2
- Using a firearm against a law enforcement officer
- Kidnapping
- Unlawfully taking a motor vehicle
- Dangerous driving
