Two offenders sought in relation to serious assault outside Manurewa McDonalds

Counties Manukau Police are urgently seeking help from members of the public to identify and locate two male offenders who attacked a man with a metal object outside McDonalds in Manurewa at approximately 1.30am yesterday (Monday) morning.

The victim, a 44 year-old man from Manurewa, was taken to Auckland Hospital with serious head injuries. He has undergone surgery and remains in a critical condition.

One of the two male offenders involved in the attack is believed to be Maori or Polynesian. of solid build, approximately 6 foot and approximately 30 years old. He also wore his hair up in a bun on the top of his head.

The second offender is described as being Maori or Polynesian, approximately 5 ft 7, with short hair and in his early to mid 20's.
