Search resumes for hunter

1 min read

The search for Corey Foster has resumed this morning with fresh search teams from various areas around Canterbury.

Despite 5cm of new snow in the search area and cloud on the tops the Iroquois is already at work ferrying the search teams in this morning.

Snr Constable Phil Simmons says that visibility is not too bad.

"We are happy he is not on the tops so we shall revisit some of the earlier areas searched today," he says. "We are also planning to bring in the Dive Squad from Wellington to search areas of the river."

The new search teams will be replacing some of those who have already done several days.
