Wanganui Police fear for woman's safety

Wanganui Police are looking for Roy Davey a 42 year old Wanganui man who is travelling in a 1998 Silver Nissan Sunny registration BTE973.

It is believed he has kidnapped a 36 year old woman and is holding her against her will.

They were last seen leaving a Jellicoe Street address in Wanganui around 1pm today 18/12/07.

Serious fears are held for the safety of the woman.

Should Davey or the vehicle be sighted can the local Police be contacted urgently.

The vehicle was believed to be low in petrol and would have had to refuel if it travelled any great distance.

Davey is a male Maori who is believed to have weapons with him. He is around 186 cm tall of medium build. He was last seen wearing Black Jeans and Black T-Shirt.

He should be treated as dangerous and not be approached.

The female is described as a 36 year old Caucasian, long blond hair, approximately 160 cm tall (5 ft 4 inches) of medium build. She was last seen wearing light blue jeans, Teal green T-Shirt and a black short cardigan.

Any information regarding the location of these two persons or the vehicle whereabouts can by passed onto the local Police station.
