Searh for Marie Davis - Day Ten

Christchurch Police will continue their search of the Waimakariri River today looking for Marie Davis. In addition to searching the river banks Police will enlist the aid of Search and Rescue Groups and use Jet boats to assist in ensuring a thorough search of the area is conducted.

Police are continuing to carryout enquiries with family, friends and associates.

Detective Senior Sergeant Le Bas wishes to stress to any persons that may have seen anything untoward or suspicious in the Northcote Area of Christchurch or the banks of the Waimakariri River that Marie went missing on the Saturday 5th April, Sunday 6th April, the weekend that we changed our clocks back an hour for Daylight saving.

Detective Senior Sergeant Le Bas asks that if people are out walking or passing through those areas that they be vigilant and if they notice any suspicious items that they contact police on either 0272711308 or 3637400.
