Nelson Police are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated robbery early today (Sunday 9 December).
Three men visiting from overseas were reportedly attacked by up to six people in an alleyway leading from Bridge Street to Montgomery carpark about 1.50am.
Personal items were taken, and one of the men sustained a broken nose and fractured jaw.
Anyone who may have seen the group behaving aggressively or witnessed the incident is urged to call Nelson Police on (03) 546 3840 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
