Attribute to Inspector John Kelly
Police are investigating a fatal shooting at a rural address in Otorohanga, Waikato.
Police were called to the Otewa Road address at 7.38pm.
A 50-year-old woman died at the scene and a 57-year-old man has been taken to Waikato Hospital in a critical condition.
Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
A firearm has been recovered and a scene guard will be put in place overnight.
