1 min read

Police will be visiting communities with a new mobile police base which will be launched at the Hawke’s Bay Home Show this weekend.

The base will be used to increase Police’s presence, visibility and accessibility to the local communities. The mobile base will be used in a number of different ways including local recruitment drives and running prevention activities.

The base also allows Police to have a greater visibility at community events and to also run events in the local communities out of the base.

Media are welcome to attend and have a look at the new vehicle.
