Police can now name the person who died following a serious crash in Wyndham, Southland on Friday 3 December.
He was 33-year-old Haimana Nessie Scouller of Tokanui.
Police extend their condolences to his family at this difficult time.
Police are making further inquiries and are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen a dark-coloured Mazda ute travelling Wyndham Road or near Mataura at around 11pm on Friday.
