Auckland City Police say their Invesigations are continuing into a road accident in Morningside last Thursday where a 14-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle.
Road Policing Manager, Inspector Andy King said that those investigations are still at an early stage and it would be some time before they would be in a position to draw any conclusions as to how the accident occured.
Meanwhile, the teenager involved in the incident remains in a critical confition in hospital but has been showing some signs of improvement over the weekend.
No further information is avaialble at this stage.
