This chapter describes the options available to Police for the collection and management of photographs and videos of members of the public, including children, and young people. It provides information and tools to inform the decision‐making process to enable Police to make a considered judgement on the necessity of the collection and subsequent management of photographs and to support Police to deliver their operational functions in ways that keeps our people safe and working within the law.
