This chapter provides direction on the consumption of alcohol on Police premises or in Police unform. It applies to all buildings, stations, Police employees and guests who are on Police premises, as well as to constabulary employees in uniform on or off Police premises.

This chapter provides guidelines and outlines minimum standards for crime scene processing. It may be applied, with modification, to any crime scene, including high volume and serious crime scenes. Some parts of this chapter have been considered not appropriate for release and, if requested, would be withheld under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). In this chapter, the relevant sections of the Act that would apply have been identified.
