This chapter applies to Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras installed at fixed sites in public places for a general crime prevention purpose and operated in conjunction with Police, and crime prevention cameras that are not monitored by Police, or are monitored by Police volunteers. It also applies to significant expansions of existing crime prevention camera systems and trials of new systems.
