Home > 28 Nov 2022 - Orca rescue @ Porangahau Beach
Porangahau Senior Constable John Singer and Constable Olivia Tilyard were called to an orca stranding at Porangahau Beach on Saturday. Sadly, one whale died before it could be rescued, but a second was refloated out to sea. It was amazing to see everybody coming together to help.
