Jordan Voudouris - 2012
Jordan Voudouris
Eight years ago in the early hours of 18 June 2012, popular Paeroa resident Jordan Voudouris was fatally shot outside the back of his Belmont Road pizza restaurant.
It’s a case where Police have left no stone unturned. There are over 10,000 documents in the case file. And yet no-one has been held accountable for the callous murder of the Mykonos restauranteur, killed a week before his 56th birthday.

Two plastic cable ties were found at the murder-scene. One was looped and the other straight. Have they been brought to the scene to restrain Jordan? Or were the cable ties innocently left behind?

Police are now prepared to reveal that a .22 firearm used to kill Jordan was fired at close range.
Finding the firearm that killed Jordan has always been the key to solving his murder.
Police also recovered a .22 spent cartridge and a bullet from the scene.
Found at the scene
If you know people who were in possession of a .22 firearm in the Waikato in 2012, and who shouldn’t have had one, police want to hear from you.
More recently and as a result of filming for Cold Case, police have received new information about a person of interest. This person was known to Jordan; and potentially explains why Jordan lowered his guard and opened the gate behind his restaurant before he was shot.
Police have also reviewed CCTV footage from Paeroa’s main-street and identified a vehicle of interest. Police would like to speak to the driver of the vehicle or anyone who has any information about it.
