Your mission is to find pictures of different Police teams hidden in the museum and tell us at Museum HQ how many you find. Let’s see if you can find them all.

Senior Detective MysteryPut your detective skills to the test with our Senior Detective Mystery: Operation: WhereaboutsThere are 5 stations, and you are officers in Police car NZPM96. Using the map of Whereabouts Park can you find what dispatch is describing. Come in and give it a go for free. We recommend this activity for individuals and groups.

Term 3 School Holiday Programmes: Scene of Crime Officer Workshop: Footwear Impression Evidence
Monday 22 September 11am – 12pm (week 1)
Monday 29 September 11am – 12pm (week 2)7 - 12 years
$5 per child
Bookings requiredYou can identify the type of shoe from the shoe print it leaves behind. Learn how to record a shoe impression using forensic techniques. All junior recruits take home a cast of their own shoe print. Wear shoes with clear interesting soles.

Bookings requiredLearn to dust, identify, and lift fingerprints like a true SOCO. Look at your own fingerprints and see what patterns you have. All junior recruits take home their own fingerprint evidence.

Term 2 School Holiday Programmes: Next Level Scene of Crime Officer Workshop

Tuesday 30 September 11am – 12pm (week 2)13+ years$5 per childBookings requiredCalling all secondary recruits. Do you know how our Scene of Crime Officers gather evidence? Use the equipment like our SOCOs and learn how they collect fingerprints at a scene. All secondary recruits take home their own fingerprint evidence.

Bookings requiredDo you enjoy creating things? Come in and make dog finger puppets. Choose your dog’s name, what they will look like and take them home with you. Programme includes use of glue, patience, and fun.
