Meet one of your local Police Officers

Visit the museum and also meet a local Porirua Police Officer. You will have the opportunity to ask the officer questions, have a chat and find out more about what a police officer does and the different roles within New Zealand Police.

Armed Offenders Squad Visit
Thursday 21 January, 1-2pm

Free, no booking required
This is an amazing opportunity to find out how the AOS support frontline Police with pre-planned search warrants and control emergency call-outs involving offensive weapons. Learn about the vital role of the AOS, check out the equipment and ask questions.
(Please note: our invited AOS member is operational and in the event of an emergency may not be able to attend).

Scene of Crime Officer Workshop: Latent Fingerprint Evidence

Learn to dust, develop and lift fingerprints. All junior recruits take home their own fingerprint evidence.
