  • Crime Scene Investigation Workshop

    Investigate a crime scene and find out about the different forensic experts and their roles. Explore specialist pieces of evidence used to solve crimes today.

  • Police Dog Section Visit

    Find out more about the integral roles that working dogs and their handlers play on the front line protecting our streets and communities. Meet the dogs and their handlers with an opportunity to ask the handlers questions and see the dogs in action.

    (Please note: all of our invited dog section teams are operational and in the event of an emergency may not be able to attend).

  • Armed Offenders Squad Visit

    Free, no booking required

    This is an amazing opportunity to find out how the AOS support frontline Police with pre-planned search warrants and control emergency call-outs involving offensive weapons. Learn about the vital role of the AOS, check out the equipment and ask questions.

  • Scene of Crime Officer Workshop: Footwear Impression Evidence

    Tuesday 20 July (week 2), 1:30pm – 2:30pm 

    7 - 12 years             
    $5 per child

    Bookings required

    Create a footprint cast and record a shoe impression using forensic techniques. All junior recruits take home their own cast and impression.

  • Scene of Crime Officer Workshop: Latent Fingerprint Evidence

    BOTH SESSIONS BOOKED OUT

    Monday 12 (week 1) and Monday 19 July (week 2), 1:30pm-2:30pm

    7 - 12 years

    Bookings required

    Learn to dust, develop and lift fingerprints. All junior recruits take home their own fingerprint evidence.
