Commissioner Rob Robinson today confirmed that the criminal investigation into historical allegations of rape by Louise Nicholas had been reopened and was under active investigation.

Mr Robinson said that Deputy Commissioner Long had advised that on an analysis of the information available it was appropriate to re-open the investigation.
