Herald on Sunday allegations against Police Officers are untrue

1 min read

The Herald on Sunday’s allegations that Assistant Commissioner Clint Rickards and Inspector Tania Eden are living in Sydney and studying at Charles Stuart (sic) University are without foundation.

The Police General Manager of Human Resources, Wayne Annan, said Mr Rickards and Ms Eden had been in touch with him in the wake of publication of the story and assured him that the claims in the story were untrue.

"Both continue to live in New Zealand full-time and Inspector Eden has returned to work in Auckland.

"Suggestions in the same story that Ms Eden was told to go on stress leave are also completely untrue."
