'Bloody mess' in Hamilton

1 min read

Normally terms like 'a bloody mess' are frowned upon when used on Police radios but officers attending a call in Hamilton early Saturday morning found they could find no better way to describe what they found.

Arriving at the Anglesea St scene they found the area covered in what appeared to be a large amount of blood.

Follow up inquiries revealed several litres of blood had been dropped in a plastic bag from the seventh floor of a car park building making for a large, slightly disturbing mess.

As officers made arrangements for the blood to be cleaned up a man was seen walking past with three stainless steel soap dispensers, complete with soap.

Because the items looked similar to the ones used in public toilets the man was arrested and follow up inquiries are continuing into the source of the blood and where the soap dispensers came from.
