Waikato Police, working in conjunction with staff from the greater Auckland area today carried out a number of search warrants as they seek several people linked to the armed robbery of a Kihikihi motorcycle shop last week.
The operation is ongoing and few details are available at this time.
Because the offenders involved in last week's robbery were armed members of the Armed Offenders Squad were used to clear a number of addresses prior to those properties being searched.
Advanced Paramedics are on hand to address any unforeseen medical issues and additional medical staff are on standby.
At this time no issues of concern relating to the safety of Police or the public have been reported.
