Two aggravated robberies

At approximately 12.15am on Thursday 20/8/09, three university students were robbed of personal items while walking along Brodie Street , near Villa Maria School.

The male offender demanded cash and was also brandishing a screw driver.

Shortly after the initial confrontation, the offender was joined by two other males who were from a white station Wagon. All three offenders later left in this vehicle.

Police are seeking any information regarding anyone who may have seen this incident or the sightings of a white Station Wagon in the area at the time.

Police are also investigating the attack on a Pizza delivery person which happened at approx 8.55pm on Wednesday 19/8/09.

The Pizza delivery person was delivering a Pizza to a Kydd Street Hornby address when he was allegedly attacked with what appears to have been a sports bat and robbed of his pizza.

As a result of this incident the Pizza person received medical treatment but was not seriously hurt.

Police are seeking information from anyone who was in Kydd Street at this time or may have seen the incident or Pizza Hut vehicle in the vicinity.
