Police response to IPCA Child Abuse inquiry

1 min read

Police have been liaising closely with the Independent Police Conduct Authority to provide information required for its inquiry into management of child abuse cases.

Assistant Commissioner Malcolm Burgess says police have put a lot of effort into ensuring the IPCA is able to effectively access the information it needs, since the inquiry was announced in August.

"We will continue to provide Justice Goddard with what ever is required to support her inquiry," Mr Burgess said.
