North Shore Police investigating an incident at a local Burger King restaurant in Takapuna on Sunday, have arrested three men for the rape of a 14 year old girl.
The three men, aged 17, 18 and 20 years, were arrested a short time ago, and will be appearing in the North Shore District Court this afternoon.
Officer in Charge of the Inquiry, Detective Sergeant Nadene Richmond, says the incident happened at about 6.30pm, on Sunday 19 February 2006, inside the male toilets in the restaurant.
"The three men will be appearing on a number of sexual violation and other related charges," Detective Sergeant Richmond said.
"Police are not looking for anyone else involved in this incident," she said.
