Henderson Police are seeking the urgent whereabouts of an 11 year old Rarotonga boy, who has been reported missing from his home in Ranui, West Auckland

Constable Andrew Owens, Henderson Police, says that the boy, Maara TERITAITI
[pron. Mahara TERI - TA - ITI ] was last seen by relatives on Kerrs Road Manukau, at about 10.00pm on Sunday 19 February 2006.

"At the time he was riding a silver BMX bike, wearing orange hoody and blue shorts. He was also in possession of a Spiderman back pack. His shoes are on handlebars."

"Police are concerned for his safety. He is just 11 years of age, he has no access to money, and his relatives in South Auckland have not sighted him since last Sunday."

"The boy may still be in the South Auckland area, but it's also thought that he may be riding his bike to Palmerston North to relatives there."

"Police enquiries to locate the boy have been unsuccessful," Constable Owens said.
