Dairy robbed at gunpoint

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at the Rendezvous Dairy, Ohakune this morning (Tuesday, 25 January).

A man armed with a double barrelled shotgun walked into the dairy just after 5am this morning. He pointed the shotgun at the owner and demanded tobacco. He got away with three to four packets of Port Royal tobacco.

He was wearing a green coloured Swanndri with his hoody up, a balaclava or similar, dark pants and black army style boots. He is about 5ft 11ins tall, slim to medium build.

Only the male owner was in the dairy at the time. No one injured
