Police locate woman sought over cosmetic surgery incident

1 min read

Christchurch Police have advised that a woman sought after fleeing a cosmetic surgery clinic without paying for treatment has been located.

A photograph of the woman, taken by the clinic before the treatment was provided, was published in news media yesterday.

Senior Constable Helen Mahon-Stroud of Papanui police says there was an overwhelming response from the public which helped to identify the woman.

A 29 year old woman has now been located in the Nelson region and has been spoken to by local Police.

The woman was sought after it was alleged that she visited a city beauty clinic on 28 July, completed a client consent form, had a number of "before treatment" photographs taken and received a $780.00 Botox treatment. After the treatment she allegedly told staff her wallet was in her car, left the premises, and was last seen running down the road.
