Man arrested for several offences

A 36 year-old man who has been helping Auckland Police today with inquiries into four aggravated robberies around the city yesterday, has been charged with seven aggravated robberies and the arson of a car yesterday.

He will appear in the Auckland District Court tomorrow where he will face those and other charges of wilful damage and trespass.

The robberies were carried out from April 24 until yesterday and include one at Video Ezy on Surrey Cres, Grey Lynn, a pharmacy in Greenlane on April 30, and one at a Whitcoulls on Karangahape Rd on May 5.
