Christchurch Police searching for missing German woman Britta Kappel have confirmed that the body of a woman has been found in Bottle Lake Forest Park.
The body was found shortly after 10.30 this morning.
Detective Inspector Dave Long says at this stage the identity of the woman has not been confirmed and police enquiries are continuing.
