Wellington Police are appealing for witnesses after robbery

Wellington Police are investigating the robbery of a 51-year-old man on the Basin Reserve end of Cambridge Terrace between midnight and 2.30am on Friday 15 February 2013.

The victim received minor injuries during the robbery in which a group of two females and one male assaulted the victim and stole property from him.

The male offender is described as Maori, 35-40 years old of medium to stocky build.

He was with a European female described as 25-30 years old, with long brown hair, blue eyes with an average build who was wearing a red sleeveless dress.

The second female was described as Maori, 25-35 years old, with black tattooed lips and a moko on her chin and wearing a white beanie.

Wellington Police are appealing for anyone who has witnessed the incident or has any information about the identity of the persons described above to contact them on (04) 381 2000.
