Two 14 year old youths have appeared in the Waitakere District Court today on serious sex offences after their arrest in the West Auckland suburb of New Lynn on Saturday.
The youths are jointly charged with:
Abduction for sex of a female aged 12 -14 years
Assault with intent to rape on a female aged 12-14 years
Indecent Assault on a female aged 12-14 years
Aggravated Robbery
The maximum penalty for each of these indictable offences is fourteen years imprisonment.
The youths have been remanded in custody to a youth detention facility.
Their next Court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday 12 August 2008
