A dispute between neighbours in the Christchurch suburb of Bryndwr this afternoon has left a man with a pellet wound though not a serious injury, says Detective Senior Sergeant Virginia Le Bas.

"We believe it was a neighbourhood dispute," she says. "Police are investigating and interviewing a number of witnesses."

One male victim received a pellet wound but it is not believed to be serious. Ambulance attended but did not take the man to hospital.
