Christchurch Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of Ms Kerry Leigh DOWNEY a 52 year old local woman. Downey is describes as being 5'2" tall, medium build with a pale complexion and red coloured hair.
Ms Downey was last seen at about 7:00pm on the 18th of August 2008 in the Riccarton Road, Ilam Road vicinity.
The Police are interested in hearing from anyone who may have seen Kerry Downey or who have any information about her whereabouts.
Ms Downey was driving her 2001 Suzuki Alto motor vehicle. This vehicle is coloured red and is a Hatchback model. The registration number for the vehicle is ABS824. This vehicle is currently unaccounted for. (The attached photos are of a similar model to that of Downey's)
