Tuam Foodcentre Dairy Attempted Aggravated Robbery

At about 7.40am this morning a male entered the Tuam Street Foodcentre dairy situated on the corner of Tuam and St Asaph Streets, Phillipstown. He presented a firearm at the sole attendant and demanded money.

Before the attendant could get any money the male ran from the dairy along St Asaph Street towards Fitzgerald Avenue. The attendant was not hurt and no money was taken in the robbery.

The male has been described as follows;

Male, part Maori

Average build

170-175cm

Possibly black beanie or bandanna

Long sleeved black t-shirt

Long black pants
